This week we have been preparing for the Matariki festival. In class Miss Tele’a showed us all the different stars, and let us decide which task we would do. I decided to do the marine biologist task that relates to the star Waita. Waita is connected to the saltwater oceans and seas and its inhabitants. I chose the marine biologist task because I have a lot of knowledge and interest in this area. Did you know we have only explored 10% of the ocean?. I enjoyed searching up the many wonders in the sea. I did good at doing it pretty fast. I need to improve on remembering the name of the horseshoe crab.
