Today I want to show you the many ways I respect the treaty of waitangi. I used format options for both the text boxes, the blocks, and the title. I also decided to make it look like building blocks, because I thought it looked nice. It took a pretty long time to fit the image in, because I only had limited space.
How To Do Addition
Today in LS2 we learned (or revised) about how to do addition using algorithims. Algorithims simplifiy equations and make them easier. My favorite part was doing the addition.
How To Do Subtraction
Today in LS2, we learned about subtraction in algorithms An algorithm is a set of steps to solve a problem. Subtraction is taking away a number from another number to find out what the sum is. My favorite part was carrying the numbers over.
Life In The Annex
The annex was quiet except for the German footsteps below them, dust was always creeping from the ground. Cleaning took days, due to the fact that even a tiny sound could betray them in their final moments. The tiniest of evidence left by them could reveal their “home”, and get them killed. The people who helped them risked so much, and when the supporters didn’t come for a few days, panic spread. Anne Frank’s annex was an absolutely horrible place to live. Not only were the family under constant pressure, but the slightest cough, or the smallest slip would result in possible capture. Even though the annex had many rooms, it was still unbearable to live in. Due to the fact that it was so, absolutely so compact and unbearable. Conflict could spread at any moment, betrayal could arise. Boredom far beyond the average human’s control, far beyond the point of insanity. Constant pressure, no entertainment. Even with all of these problems, the annex was still considered a “safe haven”. It was far beyond what any of us today could have imagined.
This paragraph was created to try and describe what Anne Frank was feeling during WW2. Our teacher, Miss Anderson suggested using Gemni Gem to improve our writing. The source we based this off was the diary of Anne Frank. Ali also helped with writing this.
Tech At Tamaki College
Today, I was going to tech. Which I had been really excited for, I had waited for nearly 2 weeks for it. Our teacher, Miss Anderson, helped us designed this.
My 2026 Blog Profile

Hello! My name is Kato. I am a year 7 student, and really excited for the upcoming year. This is my first time being in LS2.
I like biology and making stuff out of building materials. My favorite subject is writing, because I like writing stories. I am currently writing two books that I want to print. One is called Swap, and the other is called Antventure.
My favorite food is KFC, and my favorite drink is Pepsi Max. Some of my hobbies are reading, swimming, watching things on the internet and playing with my friends.
Tongan Patterns
Today we were making digital tapa in Google draw. I used gradients and shapes to make the flowers, and I made some patterns using triangles and squares. I put the triangles and squares behind the grid to make the pattern more mesmerising.
I was good at making it fast
I liked making the patterns
I need to improve of creativity.
Quality Comments
Today I was practicing making a quality comment. I put all the necessary parts of a quality comment, and after that, I commented on one of my friends blogs. My favorite part about this was commenting on my friends blog.
Spotting Postive Comments
My name is Kato, and today I was spotting all the parts of a postive blog comment. I learned that not all postive comments will have everything that postive blog comment might need. And I also learned how to spot a positive comment, so now I can learn from those comments too!
Comparing Mars With Earth
Today, for inquiry, I was comparing and contrasting with both Earth and Mars. As you can see, they have some similarities, like the fact that they both have volcanoes. But, they do have differences, like how Earth supports life, and how Mars couldn’t (that may had been false billions of years ago, when mars was frozen and had an ocean, if your interested).
